Andrew Mecham

I began my martial arts training in 1991 in Idaho Falls studying Ahito-Ryu Karate.  I earned a Black Belt in 1995 and competed in sport karate tournaments throughout the region. I began studying Okinawa Seito Kararatedo in 2010 under Ben Kincheloe, who was the owner and founder of Nampa School of Karate. In 2016 I was promoted to Black Belt under Ben Kincheloe and Morris Mack.  I have continued studying under various instructors, and primarily focus my lineage under Michael Killingstad, a direct student of Isao Ichikawa.  

I focus my karate development and instruction on practical applications from kata as opposed to sport karate and point fighting.
